The "Life's A Stage" Badge.
To earn "Life's A Stage" badge the applicant must perform at each of the Stormer Music concert events once. Specifically Inspire, Empower, Showcase and Celebrate.
The purpose of this badge is to encourage our students to put themselves forward as performers and embrace the stage. Performance builds confidence and is a measurable outcome of musical success as well as being just an incredible and wonderful thing to do.
Plan Out The Concerts
- Note the dates of all four concerts in your diary. These are announced at the start of each calendar year. The concerts can be completed in any order.
- Start working on the songs you are going to perform where possible.
- Do some research on stage performing, stage craft, confidence, breaking nervousness etc.
- Practice!
Perform Incredibly
- Dress well on the day.
- Warm up before the show.
- Be supportive to fellow performers and stay around for the whole show to watch.
- Perform for your audience not just play for them.
- Get someone you trust to film all four performances.
Reflect On The Experience
- Review the footage from each of the concerts and reflect on how you have performed at each and how you have changed/improved over all four concerts.
- Write a one page reflection on this and email us the four clips and your reflections at [email protected].
